The Problem

Users experienced confusion when navigating the product, particularly when trying to complete primary actions. The interface lacked clear visual hierarchy and intuitive navigation, which made it difficult for users to understand where to go and what to do next.

I was responsible for the end-to-end design process, including research, ideation, wireframing, and high-fidelity UI design.

Research & Insights

To better understand user needs and pain points, I conducted a combination of competitive analysis and informal usability testing. By reviewing similar products and observing user interactions, I was able to identify common usability patterns and areas of friction.

Key Insight:
Users needed clearer navigation, stronger visual hierarchy, and more obvious calls-to-action to complete tasks confidently.

Design Process

I began the design process by mapping out user flows to better understand how users move through the experience. Low-fidelity wireframes were created to explore layout options and reduce unnecessary steps.

Based on feedback and iteration, I refined the structure and interface by simplifying navigation, improving spacing, and emphasizing key actions. Each design decision was made with the goal of reducing cognitive load and improving clarity.

Final Solution

The final design presents a clean and structured interface that prioritizes ease of use and accessibility. Improved visual hierarchy guides users through the experience, while simplified navigation helps users complete tasks more efficiently and with less confusion.

Outcome & Reflection

This project strengthened my ability to design with intention and reinforced the importance of research-driven decision-making. If given more time, I would conduct additional usability testing to further validate the design and identify opportunities for refinement.
